After making over 18 mug rugs, I have a little bit of quilting experience! These were such fun to make, and are great gifts. I even got to try out the variety of "stitch cogs" on my ancient Janome sewing machine!
The rugs are shown front and back, and in reverse order of creation (the first shall be last ;-).
I adore this frog fabric! And paired with my own flame-formed glass frog, it's perfectly paired.
Raw edge applique is new to me. My harlequin patterned glass beads on the teaspoon have a taste of elegance.
Kitties! Mug, spoon, fabric.
More raw edge applique, and a pink beaded teaspoon.
The back side.
I made a set of 3 in this chicken variety.
